I have always had a fascination with old school science books ( studying biology and chemistry many years ago probably was the reason). So I do have a page on the website devoted to those.
One of 30 volumes from 1966 published Foundations of Science . I always say I’m not going to get involved with these big encyclopedic series of books …… http://schoolreading70sbooks.weebly.com/science-text-books.html
Another science book that uses a pictorial breakdown of the info on the facing page. Excellent idea http://schoolreading70sbooks.weebly.com/science-text-books.html
Published by Blackie in 1975
Published by Wheaton in 1954
From Science From the Beginning , Oliver & Boyd in 1977
Junior Science – Electricity, part of a series published by Frederick Muller Ltd in 1974. I love the illustrations in this book which have a lovely blue colour.
